On 17 June 2026, Ms Zhujun XIE, President of the Chinese-European Chamber of Commerce (CECC), attended the Fondation France-Asie Annual Gala Dinner, held in the prestigious Oval Room of the National Library of France (Bibliothèque nationale de France) in Paris.

As one of the Fondation France-Asie's flagship annual events, the Gala Dinner brings together more than 300 leading figures from France and Asia to promote long-term dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation. Since its inception in 2017, the event has become an important platform for strengthening ties between France and its major Asian partners.

This year's Gala once again highlighted the vitality of France–Asia relations by bringing together public and private sector leaders, entrepreneurs, experts and Young Leaders with a shared ambition to deepen cooperation between France and Asia's major economies, including China, India, Japan and Indonesia.

During the evening, Mr. Nicolas Macquin, President and Co-founder of the Fondation France-Asie, reaffirmed the Foundation's commitment to fostering sustainable cooperation between France and Asia through dialogue, cultural exchange and strategic partnerships.
The evening also featured a special musical performance by internationally acclaimed violinist Esther Abrami, a member of the Foundation's Young Leaders programme.

The Gala provided an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange perspectives on the evolving landscape of France–Asia cooperation and to strengthen relationships across business, finance, innovation and cultural communities.
Through its participation, CECC further expanded its engagement with leading French and Asian institutions. In the future, CECC will continue to serve as a platform connecting businesses, institutions and professionals, contributing to stronger China-Europe partnerships across economic, financial and cultural fields.
