At the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, Switzerland faced a severe shortage of medical supplies. In response to this crisis, CECC took swift action to procure high-quality masks in China and donate them to Switzerland and other regions in need. During this process, CECC collaborated in establishing a mask warehouse at the Dazhong Mini Storage facility in Shenzhen’s Caopu branch.  creating a highly efficient and flexible system for storing and transferring supplies. This initiative not only demonstrated CECC’s responsiveness and commitment during critical moments but also highlighted its unwavering dedication to serving the global community amidst a public health crisis.

The establishment of the Shenzhen warehouse was not only an innovative logistics operation but also a crucial support point for humanitarian aid efforts. Through this warehouse, CECC successfully stored and distributed hundreds of boxes of masks to frontline workers, reinforcing its indispensable role in global cooperation and crisis response.

Efficient Operations and Flexible Management of the Warehouse

Located in the convenient district of Luohu in Shenzhen, the warehouse operates under a monthly rental model to ensure both flexibility and efficiency. During the peak period of the pandemic, CECC utilized two rooms (totaling approximately 20.1m³) to store more than 250 boxes of masks, ensuring a steady supply of emergency materials. Since August 2021, the warehouse has been optimized to one room with a capacity of 15.1m³ and currently holds 183.5 boxes of masks to meet ongoing global supply needs. This flexible storage strategy is an innovative approach to resource management and supply coordination, ensuring that essential materials are quickly delivered to the areas that need them most.
